Those who do not have the Salt Morning Star are recommended to use weapons that deal Busting damage, such as the Insect Hammer tool in Grounded. Since this tough insect is vulnerable to Salty-augmented weaponry, the Salt Morning Star is undoubtedly the best choice for taking this beetle down.

To defeat a Black Ox Beetle in Grounded, players will need to understand its weaknesses to cut through its incredibly thick exoskeleton. Players will also encounter Ladybird Larvae, Mosquitoes, Orb Weavers, and Black Ant variants in this biome. Needless to say, the Black Ox Beetle is not the only threat within the Shed Surroundings. According to the Grounded Wiki, the Black Ox Beetle is a 'burly foe who roams the lands surrounding the shed,' indicating that this creature resides in the Shed Surroundings biome of the Upper Yard. While additional resources are required to craft Overbearing Black Ox Armor in Grounded, knowing where to find the source of the main material, Black Ox Beetles, should be the players' first priority in Grounded. Quickcharge increases the rate at which Charge Attacks recharge, and Stunning Charger bolsters the stun damage inflicted by melee Charged Attacks. Equipping Black Ox Armor will also imbue its wearers with Quickcharge and Stunning Charger.
